I bought this on Amazon and it only took a day to receive it.
First examination: The packaging is pretty nice and sturdy. On the back is a

  1. Roast Dates about 3 weeks ago.
  2. Best by date about 2 and 1/2 months out.

I’m not disappointed in receiving this after the 3 weeks roast date. It looks like restocking on Amazon happens after they run out, so if you require freshness wait til there is a restocking.

Immersion Pour-Over

Using Founder’s Blend by Stumptown Coffee Roasters by immersion and then pour over in a Hario V60.

Process
I used 16 grams of coffee with a medium course grind to 250 grams of water. Immersed the grind for 2 minutes and 15 seconds before pouring and swirling (to get all the grinds out) into a Hario V60.

Tasting:
There’s a nice soft body on the tip of the tongue and light citrus a sweet grapefruit or crisp apple going down.

After thoughts
Try a finer grind next time. Even though the website says medium roast treat it like a light roast.

Aeropress

Founder's Blend brewed with Aeropress
Using an Aeropress to brew Founder’s Blend by Stumptown Coffee Roasters.

Process:
Started with 18 grams of beans ground to a medium-fine grind. Added this to an inverted Aeropress (where the filter is added at the end of the process. The water temperature is between 200 and 204 degrees. 40 grams of water is added to the beans and stirred for 10 seconds then let sit for 40 seconds. Add a total of 240 grams of water and stir for another 10 sec let sit for a total of 1 minute and 59 seconds.

Taste:
Very smooth with a good body or texture savory and smoky with a small bite going down

After Thoughts:
Next time try a medium course and more time brewing.
